I created LKco after I had my daughter, Harper Kinsley. I have always wanted to be a mom, so when my daughter was born I felt SO happy and fulfilled in my role as a mother... But, as important as my job was as a SAHM, I found myself feeling unaccomplished at the end of the day.

How could I be so happy in motherhood but still find myself wanting more? I felt guilty to even admit that. I didn't realize it at the time, but I was experiencing Postpartum Depression.

I found joy in dressing Harper up in cute outfits, so I thought, "Why not start my own baby clothing line?" Once I started researching different materials, I learned about the harmful chemicals that can be found in clothing, which is why we only use Organic materials. 

When it came to designing each piece, I wanted quality, everyday pieces that were both comfortable and attractive. My goal was to create timeless styles that are durable enough to last as hand-me-downs. 

I have found my passion through creating LKco, and I believe that it has helped me overcome PPD. I hope I can inspire other Moms who may be experiencing PPD, to find their passion and run with it...
